Простые и понятные аудиотекстуры от Марата, музыканта из Санкт-Петербурга. Умение замечать и отображать почти невидимое окружение – черта художника, обладающего тонкой и подвижной натурой, а делать это ближайшими подручными средствами – еще и признак таланта. Выбор источника шума, использованного в композициях, безусловно случайный. Это может быть игрушка дочери или кипящий чайник. Можно предположить, что и выбор инструмента для автора не принципиален. Но в данном случае это магнетический звук синтезатора Alesis, растянутый бесконечно и потому сливающийся до тишины с окружающей обстановкой.
Любое воспоминание – это впечатление, а впечатление – это картина.
"The Fog" – воспоминание автора про утренние велосипедные поездки в тумане по пустому, безлюдному Стокгольму.
"Museum of art" – впечатление от просмотра документального фильма об американском художнике-минималисте Соле Левитте.
В любом случае, работы Surroundyou наполнены скромной радостью от созерцания и тихим очарованием от происходящего вокруг. Будь то пение птиц, или занятие любимым делом, или твое любимое место.
Трэк "Awakening" вошел в августе 2016 в сборник Ambient Archives vol. 5 на лэйбле Archives.

Simple and clear audiotextures by Marat, a musician from St. Petersburg. The ability to detect and display almost invisible environment - a feature of artist, having thin and flexile nature, and to do it by available means - also a sign of talent. The random selection of the noise source in the compositions . It may be a daughter toy or a boiling kettle. As well we can assume the choice of instrument is not basic for the author. But in this case, magnetic sound of synth Alesis is stretched endlessly and therefore merges to silence with the surrounding environment.
Every memory is an impression, and every impression is a picture.
"The Fog" is the memory of the author about the morning bike rides in the fog in deserted Stockholm.
"Museum of art" is the impression of watching a documentary about the american artist Sol LeWitt.
In any case, the works of Surroundyou are filled with modest joy of contemplation and quiet charm of what is happening around. Whether it is the birds singing, or your favorite hobby, or your lovely place.
The track "Awakening" has entered in August 2016 in a collection Ambient Archives vol. 5 on the label Archives.
